Our mission is:

• To capture the stories and culture of the people who produced hooked mats/articles that enhanced the comfort of the early homes of New Brunswick and continue to add to the fabric of our lives today.

• To develop and maintain a database documenting mats/articles hooked in New Brunswick more than 25 years ago with images and individual histories documenting various influences on their creation.

• To share the story of rug hooking in New Brunswick and the database on a website in partnership with the New Brunswick Museum.
