Biography:Jean May Berryman Milton lived in Shenstone, Albert County, New Brunswick, and later moved to Weldon, NB. She was a teacher, graduating from the Normal School in 1947. She was a member of the Weldon church Women's Missionary Society. She taught for eight years before she started her family. She went back to teaching part time for the last fifteen years of her career. She learned to hook on her own though her grandmother did hook. She made a total of two mats and one not finished. Her mother also hooked.
