Biography:Mabel Juliette Grey Nason's mother died when she was 8 years old so she moved in with her cousins in Cornhill. Mabel married at age fifteen to Truman Asa Nason who was a supervisor at the Gibson Cotton Mill in Marysville, New Brunswick. They moved to Fredericton where they had two daughters. Due to a lung condition, her husband was advised to move to the country, so they moved to Norton, New Brunswick and farmed. Mabel always had a quilt on one frame and a rug on another. She was a gentle, optimistic person who loved to bake and play the organ at church. She learned how to hook rugs with her cousins and stopped rug hooking after 1975.
