Biography:Louisa Tomilson Everett moved to Currieburg, York County, when she was six months old. She attended Provincial Normal School and then taught in Upper Durham then in a small village,Everett, twelve miles above Plaster Rock. There she met her husband Jack, and they married in May 1902. They raised seven children and operated a farm. She continued to teach and Jack did some guiding. Upon retirement, they sold the farm to their son and moved to Plaster Rock, NB. She was married to Jack for sixty years. Louisa belonged to the Anglican Women's auxiliary and learned to hook in her later years. Her mother owned hooked rugs. Louisa knitted, crocheted, quilted and made tin dollhouse furniture.
