| Biography: | Gertrude Widbur Thomson moved to Chance Harbour when she married David Thomson (1895-1975) on September 18, 1930. She met him when he was lobster fishing off Point Wolfe. She also was a school teacher. She enjoyed quilting and drew her own designs and her nephew once helped her to draw a covered bridge. She had three girls and taught them how to hook. |
