| Biography: | Gertrude Estella Ward Williams moved to Saint John in 1946 when she married then to Grand Bay from the 1960s to her death. She married Edward P.M. Williams on November 2, 1946. She took care of children and ran a post office at Christmas time. She attended church and loved playing Bingo. She was very, very clean and a worrier. She made incredible jams and jellies and was known for saying reading books was a waste of time when you could make something. She hooked mats and did a lot of needlework. She was buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery. |
