| Biography: | Elizabeth Gibson Whittaaker Kirkpatrick went to school until grade seven or eight when she married and became a farmer’s wife. She was part of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the local United church and may have been a member of the 4-H Club. She made dresses, knitted socks and was always busy. She had six daughters, none of whom hooked, only her grand-daughter Faye. She started making mats in her fifties. |
