| Biography: | Edna Lois Roberts Beers lived all of her life in Beersville, NB, and acted as post mistress for a time because she housed a boarder or two. She had an English and Irish heritage and was a busy mother and grandmother. Edna was also a member of the St. James Presbyterian Church in Beersville. Edna was a self-taught rug hooker who enjoyed the art with her grandchildren. The hooking was done mostly for family use. |
