Biography:Clifford Sentell was a carpenter, ran a snack bar and cooked. He was the organist for the Salisbury United church for over 25 years. He was also the Postmaster for the Masonic Lodge in Salisbury. He began to hook at age 76 as a hobby. His son remembers that when he came home from militia training, he would drive by the house at two and three in the morning. Family members drew his designs. He used old clothes brought to him by his friends. He could identify who and when the materials came from. He dyed his own colours. He cut all the strips by hand. His house was covered in mats, some being 75 feet long.
