Biography:Barbara Andrew Hart lived in East Riverside, Rothsay from 1942 until 1959 when she moved to Saint John until 1965. She later moved to Port Hope, Ontario, 1965-1966, Halifax, Nova Scotia 1966-1972 and finally to Fredericton in 1972 until at least 2012. Barbara was a nurse and married Stephen Gilbert Hart July 3, 1965. Barbara kept busy with activities. She was a member of the Fredericton Quilters Guild, 1985-2012, Spirit of Christmas 1999-2009, Nashwaaksis Y's Menettes 1973-2005, Fredericton Rug Hooking Guild, Lay Reader St. John the Evangelist Church 1973-2005, St. John General Hospital Alumni 1963-2012, Fredericton Art Club 2009-2012, and Centennial ACW 1972-1982. She taught herself to hook with wool at age fifteen. She joined the Fredericton Rug Heritage Hooking Guild and attended rug hooking school for four years. She also took a couple local courses from Doris Norman, Shirley Mellish, Jean Ketch and Carol Cristie (sp?).
