| Biography: | Annie Laura Brown Green hooked mats with her grandmother when she was a young girl as her mother had poor eye sight. She married when she was 27. Annie worked at McCains and belongs to the United Church Women and seniors group. She hooked her last mat at the age of twenty-two as, at that point, she took up quilting, crocheting and knitting. She remains active (2017) and still serves at church suppers. |
