Biography:Annie Electa Colpitts [McFeters] Briggs lived in a rural area dominated by farmland. Her residence's location is in Stilesville, NB, where she started living in 1891. She did spend a small period of time in Ammon, NB, before moving to Stilesville. Her occupation was as a homemaker. She attended the church in Stilesville, at the time she was a methodist also serving as a lady's aid. It is suspected that she had been hooking since she was a young age. She had ten children. Her daughters, a grandson, a daughter-in-law (Ivena Briggs), and a great granddaughter (Joanna Close) all hooked in her family. The mats she made were for family use.
