| Biography: | Anne Valentine Harnett McPherson lived in a farm/rural area and resided in Mundleville, New Brunswick. Anne has an English background and her occupation was a farm wife. She did her own designs for rugs/mats and she dyed the material herself. Mats were used in her house and many were given away as gifts. It is currently not known if she had any other relatives who hooked. In her case however, hooking was done mostly for family use and creative expression. |
