Biography:Alma Frazee Keith's ancestors came from Scotland to New Jersey in the 1600's, from there they emigrated to Nova Scotia, then New Brunswick. Alma worked for one year as a maid in Rothesay, New Brunswick, prior to her marriage in Carsonville, New Brunswick. She was a homemaker who lived on a farm and a member of the United Church. She hooked as a means of creative expression along with her mother, sisters (Mary and Cora) and sisters-in-law. She hooked from the late 1920s into the 1980s. Her daughter-in-law describes her as a dear, caring woman, not a meddler.
